MDM Middle East
Constructed out of multiple layers of brushed aluminium, with some boasting a solid middle layer and intricate pattern cut-outs on each side, with perforated wings made solely from the decorative cut-outs.
Engineering and detailing this installation required meticulous precision. Each aspect of the artwork was carefully analysed before fabrication. To accommodate the ship’s vibrations on Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas, we developed a specialised hanging system. This system ensures the artwork remains securely in place, even during the ship’s movements.
Concept and design by Studio Roso, and manufactured and fabricated by MDM Middle East in our workshop in Beirut, Lebanon.
